Math -  What is area and perimeter?

Making a text-to-self connection means relate something that you have done or is happening in a story to your own life.

MLK was a Civil Rights activist who gave many different speeches about equality for everyone.
Science-  What are some different ways that animals take in food? 
Some animals use their beaks to crack open or tear apart objects. Others use their teeth to grind up their food.
Idiom of the Week - What does it mean to open a can of worms? 
To open a can of worms means to begin an uncomfortable or awkward conversation.
