Questions to ask your student at home:

Math- Please work on addition and subtraction facts up to 20 with your student. (Ex: 9+2, 13-2)
Reading- We are focusing on the main idea and key details of the Eagles and Eaglets nonfiction piece we are reading. Have your child tell you about what they learned from  Eagles and Eaglets. 
What is main idea? Main idea is the message or central idea of the story. 
What are supporting details? Supporting details are smaller pieces of information that support the main idea.
Grammar- What is a pronouns?
A pronoun is a word that takes the place of a noun (person, place, thing, or idea). Ex: she, he, etc.
Social Studies- How did King Asoka become a better ruler? 
He used his power and wealth to help his people instead of hurt them.
Science- How does folding or cutting change an object? 
It can change the object’s size and or shape.
